I have to watch the race back tonight when @ home. I have to say everything felt pretty good and looks like everybody stepped up there game also in preparation and such so no more small unusefull talking.
To bad there were some contacts in the first few corners but its more due the nature of the track i think. Anyway good job to everyone i will look forward to this season !! Hyped !! Time to do some serious livery work !

Enjoyed the race last night. Qualified 16th which was as good as I could do really. Oddly I managed faster laps during the race.

I spent the first half of the race trying to keep up with @Noztra and @Daz Oz but just wasn't fast enough. After my pit I came out in front of @Daz Oz after he had a little contact on the pit exit with someone else. He evetually passed me and I tried to hang on. I then spun with a few laps left and settled in to finish 9th I think, with 0.1L of fuel left! Spent me final lap short shifting to make sure I would finish.

I enjoyed the first 20 minutes of the race last night even though i was saving tyres, but the inevitable happened and my internet crashed causing me to lose connection to the server. was really angry as i was in a solid 5th place and set up for the rest of the race :/

Yeah it was you that were behind me the whole time. Was wondering why your car went flying right before you disconnected. Sad, would've had a nice battle the whole race long.

Enjoyed the race yesterday, even tough the first laps were a little bit messy for me. Got a decent bump into T1 by a white/blue BMW (think it was @Nada ) which sended me off into some other cars, luckily nobody spun, but damage was done. Would be nice if you could take it a little more easy into T1 next time mate... In T3 my teammate @Diluvian spun sadly and I was super lucky to be able to avoid him. Tried to settle down a bit but touched the grass in L2 T4 and went a little bit wide which costed me 1 or 2 places.
After that I had some good pace and followed my fellow VR mate @Jeff[NL] through the field just to recognize that I'm fucked because I was super bad out of the last turn and lost about 50m every time we exited that corner  so overtaking was quite hard for me and actually I didn't do a single overtake on the main straight I think
Came home in P5, 20 seconds behind the leaders which is alright because I think I lost about 10-15 seconds just in the first 2 laps.

Tbh I'm a little bit unhappy on how the fixed setup is handled atm. I was a little bit 'shocked' to see that many options open because I didn't do any setup work in my practice because I thought everything is locked... Would prefer to see the tire pressure locked as there is normally only one correct set of tires pressures possible, so what's the point of leave them open? Just put them in the locked setup for the specific track and thats it. I would happily do couple of laps to get right pressures and give them to you. Also aero. Just find a pretty neutral aero balance (I think the default 2/21 is quite good, maybe little less rear wing) and thats it. When aero is open you need to do quite an amount of practice, because you can find significant amounts of time in it and I thought this specific thing is the reason why we do locked setups. Same goes for differential settings...
If you want to do people a favor then leave ARB settings open so that everybody can tune the mechanical grip of the car to their likings. You can't find significant amounts of time in the ARB settings because you can only alter the balance of the car with the ARBs but not the total amount of grip.

Other than that I'm really looking forward to Mugello and to the whole season next year. Really like the cars and the competition seems harder than ever!
See you in 2 Weeks!
Cheers,

ok so can we get peoples opinion on the new version of the car...

personally i found the BMW quicker but harder to handle. the tires seemed to not last as long as they would of in v11. 2 pit stops to change tires and i still ended the race with highly worn tires. also seems fuel was a bit of an issue for some either running out or being very low again this was not the case with the v11...there are good points to the v12 at least for the BMW..

ARBs are open for Mugello, btw server is already open for practice

@Exited i agree with you that some parts of the setup might be to open and with the right changes can gain you a decent amount of time. But Its also a difflcult balance to get right, Because we want people to have the option to “tune” the car to their liking.

But for the mugello race we will look into doing some changes, ie tire pressures, aero and arb. Again that is was these preseason races are for. :)

I did one stop In the middle lf the race and had No tire issues. I also did 65L In both stints and had fuel left after the race. I Think the fuel part If easy to fix. Just go better safe, than Sorry. :) Tire wear Can be tweaked. Atm it is at 200%

For more strategic options the fuel consumption could be reduced a bit to have the option to skip refueling during the race. I personally had no tyre wear problems.

Sorry @Exited have a new wheel with miss shifting, miss down shifting and double down shifting, I wanted to let you pass after but you made a mistake.
For the setup the problem is some like me and many other use defaut setup and other don't. We must have clear instructions for each race.
Very good evening thanks to AC team.

Same here with the Aura. I started the race with I think 85L which is far from full fuel. I did the whole race on that 85L easily. Also the tyres went to around 40-50% when I got to 30 minutes left.

I found no problems actually with the Audi. Tires good never red ,fuel good just some understeer but you can adapt to that. I started with 74L Pitted lap 24 with yellow worn tires. Tanked 54L and went full thtottle last stint (23min race left). Setup i only changed Acceleration Dif one bit lower and 17 psi tires.

Tip: You can change pitstrat during race and it shows L and minutes you can race so you dont have to do math.

Don't think that wrong tire or power files are the problem here, as the server should throw you out of the session when your car files aren't correct.
If not, then it's rather worrying because that opens up the door for some serious cheating...

I can asure you the files were wrong default setup for tires with previous files was 21 or 25psi with the newer on they start at 15 or 16 i also managed to get in the lobby with the v11 cars.. So prehaps the server needs looking at becouse i can mange to get in with new and old cars

Everything cool guys, we are looking into it and having a solution before the next pre-season race. No need for panic or early conclusions :)
