Changes I've made so far:
  • Front wing: 0
  • Rear wing: 6 or 7 (lower is very unstable)
  • Rear ride height: 170 (74mm)
    • This will stabilize the car in high speed corners and during braking.
    • You have to adjust the camber because if you lower the ride height, the degree of the camber will be more negative
  • Gears: increase gear ratios so you have higher top speed
  • Brake bias: 59% (the rear of the car will lock up easily with low downforce)
Still you have to be very careful when accelerating. (forget 1st gear :) )

Thanks to your advice, I was able to drive a circle without a u-turn, in a Porsche turn

You guys having throttle oversteer problems with Mazda should really try C9 with max turbo pressure :D

How are you guys achieving such top speeds, I am 10-20kmh off, even if I drop the front to 0 and rear to 2??? - I wish I had a clue about set-ups :D. At least I don't do drag racing (I would probably still spin the car :D:dead:)

Not sure I will race this one, I can't go faster than mid 40's, even with the setup changes above.

Unfortunately I'm way off the pace and finding the car a pain to drive, so going to give this one a miss.

Gutted.

Finished 3rd in the first race :blackalien:;), running 3rd in the second race with 3 minutes to go. Lost control at last chicane, got a slow down penalty as crossing the line - Disqualified. :(

Insane car and track combo. The two starts were crazyo_O

See you all again soon :)

Insane combo, did not enjoy it very much, starting with practice, Q and both races. Just couldn't put more than a couple clean laps together. Lap s just too long and driving on the Mulsanne all by yourself is no fun. It's a 1 minute wait.

First start was kinda ok, but the second was terrible, some guys were just way too aggressive and I was suddenly on the roof and in the pits.

In hindsight, start procedure wasn't the one to go, Mulsanne is anything but a straight. It's a bumpy two-lane road. Disaster was inevitable really.

I hope some people still enjoyed it, feel kinda bad because I suggested this combo last week. :)
