I'm in the process of moving the rig from the Annex, garage really, to the Dining Room, oh yes, she gave in eventually, no more cold feet :D

@Bassetts how do you find using (or how do you *find*) the button box when using VR? I'd love to have a small one just to free up a few buttons on the wheel - do your find yourself fumbling for the controls or do you get used to it quickly?

Doesn't take long at all, adjusting it to your measurements is more tweaking.
But as Bassetts was saying, you're never finished! There is always something you want to tweak, add and adjust but it's so modular that you have the opportunity.

It’ll take atleast 7 years to have the possibility to have a child that can work efficiently on the rig.

You could always buy one :D :D
Or you could "babysit" 10+ year old ones and even get paid for it because their parents are happy to have them out of the house for a while. :D

The much anticipated Paz SimRig Mk1 pedal mounting add-on
20180127_193227.jpg

Fully mounted. I don't know why I'm telling you this, as I can no longer blame the pedals sliding 45 degrees for my wiping racers :(

As mentioned before - the woofer for my surround sound is touching the pedal base. You get s small, but important rev feedback through doing so. I thought the mounting box might cause vibration issues or something, but it doesn't seem to have happened!

Right, pedal tray has had the anti-slip material applied and the button box is fully functional.

All ready for the 24hrs of DaytonaView attachment 3314
Mate you don't put grip tap or anything grippy on the throttle pedal and rather not on the clutch either. Throttle pedal compared to brake pedal has travel so the foot needs to slide on the throttle pedal. Grip Tab on the brake is okay as a hydraulic brake resp. load cell shouldn't resp. don't need to move.

Besides that, pretty extreme rig you have there.

PS: The shifter in on the wrong side (for most cars). :p

The pedals are shipped like that from the factory, it was just the heal rest plate at the bottom that didn't have the material applied. It's not really grip tape in the conventional sense, more of an anti slip material, the foot can still slide on the pedals. it's very similar to the surface of the d plates on the fanatec cspv3's

this is mine, since been upgraded with a Playseat mat to stop it sliding on the wooden floor. Cheap as chips "button box" made from a £5 usb number pad and some coloured stickers.

A nice addition to any rig.... the grips look far better in person, camera just doesn't do it justice.

Fits straight to the G25/27 hub. Eventually I'll have an adapter available to allow it to fit to any 70mm base/quick release. Got 4 more dials and 2 five way thumb switches on the way to finish it off.

These show the grips and colours better

Oh, the completely handmade carbon fibre unit above is around £800 a piece :nailbiting:. But thats all the switches (all 68 inputs ) included.

If you have a G25/27 base there is a basic setup available connecting straight to the original 6 buttons for £600 (pic is pre finish, Grips, Caps, anodised fittings and clear coat would be included). It's completely customisable.

just got to work out the production routine :)
Who wants one...?
