It's not impossible but it is stupidly difficult...
There isn't as many tuning options to really dial the controller in, trying to map buttons on it is almost impossible..
I did send @Ben Watkinson my controller settings prior to becoming homeless. He may still have it..
Word of advice, leave the pad assist on. You can get a semi decent setting with it. Don't turn it off thinking you'll get a similar driving experience because you wont

I do still have it but I too struggled with the settings was way too twitchy
