If it's £20 on the opening round of EA, maybe. Even then, I won't actually even try it until VR support is added - having only driven in VR for 4 years now (or is it 5?), I have no desire to drive without VR.

If this roadmap is accurate we won’t have to wait long I’ll get it with early access too!

Interesting to read that wet weather will be "canned" to some extent. No dynamic drying line and no dynamic formation of water on the track. Makes it easier to provide a consistent experience I suspect, especially multiplayer.

EDIT : Oh and yeah, it's fine for £20-£25 but no way I'm paying £45 for it and I suspect that's what will end up happening. The vast majority of their sales will be in the first couple of months of EA and then whenever they have a sale. As long as it sells, though, that's all that matters - the more sim titles that do well, the better for all of us.

Definitely - on day of release. Wont be playing it however until VR is in as I still dont have a monitor for my rig (nor am I tempted to get one tbh....).

They have some nice recent blog write ups on the ACC General discussions forum where they go into detail on tyres, ratings etc..

The rating one sounds most intriguing and in depth... just hope its implemented in a way that its actually important - definitely would have loved for PC2 to have scheduled races in various safety rating rather than leave it up to the end users who alas just dont use it.. its all U rated... end result its pointless :/

Main thing worrying me is also what interests me the most for ACC... ie just GT3 cars... but with that scope they can afford to really go to town on the rating, multiplayer design, finetune handling more than SMS could ever hope to do with so many tracks and cars....

My attention span is usually much less when its a very specific scope though - so we shall see how long it entertains!

This is now live for those that want to get it early. One car and one track right now and obviously limited stuff you can do but it's £22.49 in the UK until the end of October, when the price goes up. If you're interested in it then it may be worth grabbing at this price.

For the VR folk, you'll need to wait until October for VR support, based on the current roadmap.

It being Early Access and the first public release, don't expect a finished, polished, bug-free experience.
