Because there is none atm. There are some posts, that they are working on it 24/7 and stuff like that.

EDIT: Of course, it goes without saying that I'm just kidding. It will be really nice for those 24-hour races to actually drive through a sunset, into the night and then watch the dawn arrive, all in real-time. There's little weirder in racing than doing 24 hours of Le Mans in 'early evening' or 24 hours of Daytona in permanent night (maybe they relocated Daytona to northern Alaska for the race?!). It will be a long-overdue but very welcome update, when it arrives .

Apparently driving carefully at the back ignoring everyone is enough to take you from R2.9 to D2.6

Make sure to get D3.0 or higher and reach your MPR.
That will grant you C licence and will allow you to participate in special events (daytona 24)
