Maybe add some rear downforce? I have mine in the Astra on 3, tyre temps are ok. Add rear downforce makes you slower on the straights but more stable in fast corners. During a full length race I prefer a more stable car. Being fast doesn't make sense if I lose the car and spin every 5th lap :)
I hear downforce, I think unnecessary drag ... I read "more stable in fast corners" I think, hä that's what the right paddle is for :D

Sure you need some performance on the rear axis to not just rotate the car but also corner it. Usually rotating the car is the bigger problem. I'd rather play with front/rear camber balance, brake balance, brake pressure and tire pressure instead of using downforce on this cars. In doubt more throttle ^^

"Being fast doesn't make sense if I lose the car and spin every 5th lap" this is something I can only agree on. Braking will be crucial in this conditions.

I'm a noob camberwise.... Will experiment with camber once I know more about camber settings.

So are many simulations out there. Camber is something very complicated to simulate. Most games fake it, if it ever has any effect. So don't worry, even if you knew exactly what it should do, doesn't mean the game recreates it that way. Just play around with the numbers and see what it does for you.

For the most part, @Nighttiger's guide on how to do this works fine for pCars. Sometimes i lower the temp tolerance from 10deg across the tyre to 5deg. the difference can be quite surprising...
for Barcelona my front left camber was quite drastic at -4.5 deg. For this circuit its more in the 'normal racing car' range of -3.2 deg. Because the amount of left turns is minimal, like 3 corners, I set the camber to the lowest (-2.8deg) so as to maximise tyre contact as the front's still need to pull the car

I only have a setup for the 1st race, front camber -2.9deg, will try -2.8 tonight. Rear something in -3deg range. Hopefully I have time enough for race 2 and quali setup...

+ or - 0.1° on camber is fine tuning. Try +/-0.5° for checking effects at least.

Why not do the sensible thing and reduce tire pressure in the rear more contact patch the more heat it will generate be mindful tho to low and you will loose grip. Id strat there before going down the camber and DF route.. If you really want to get maximum grip on the rear then change the rake have it sitting down on the rear stiffen front and softer rear. However this is a FWD car so you want forward lower rake not rear you need maximum grip at the front. You just have to be aware of the front bottoming out if you take rake to much.(thats if the game takes that in to consideration).. Thats just my 2 cents worth lol.. Im pretty good at setups for others i just cant drive my own lol...

ok so after doing several stints in the rain at 50 minz a pop iv concluded it does not get dry enough to warrant slicks every stint it was probably dry enough with 4 to 5 minz to go and tbh its not worth switching. you can stay on wets and go puddle hunting..

I've had a bit of a senior moment, and will not be racing tomorrow I'm afraid. It clashes with my wife's birthday, and I can't afford a divorce. Sorry guys, especially my teammate @daniel v

Happy wife is definitely much more important than one race night :)

Seems I won't make it tonight unfortunately.

@t0daY best to demote me to reserve for the season. I hope to attend future races but if things stay as they are it would be better if someone else had a permanent spot. Didn't see this coming at sign-up, sorry. Hope tonight is enjoyable for everyone.

Any news on the track limits just before the back straight @t0daY?
