Joking about the lorries. I'd be interested to give this a spin, got another league race that evening starting at 2000 so will have to see if you're all still running when we're done

last time i checked this limits your choice to about 6 cars... Ginetta, Caterhams, Mitsubishi lancers, formula trainer/ rookie & maybe the kart?

A good little event I would say for the launch of AMS2.
The first car/track combo was excellent once I got to grips with it. Shame I got caught in an incident off the line, wrong place wrong time being on the outside, just got collected.
The formula rookie/trainer is an excellent little thing, though going to it from a car with buckets of aero & a diff was a bit of a shock haha. The track, once you figured out the limits & what was actual track, was surprisingly fun to drive.
Still think the ui needs some serious work...
I noticed it carries the same pain in the ass feature of leaving an online session /server, it throws you back to the start screen & not the server menu/list.
There's next to no session info given in the online lobby but hopefully this will get looked at soon.
I will say, that the game has come a VERY long way from when I initially played it. Hopeful for the future if they can keep up the rate of improvements.

Yeah, polish is something it is lacking, but I read a reply from the top man at Reiza over on RaceDepartment yesterday and their approach has been 'lay down the foundations, get the driving right, THEN polish everything around it' . It's hard coming from something like a 'finished' product, like pCARS2, to something so rudimentary and un-polished, but I guess you have to look at v1.0 as 'a start' :)

Releasing a game in such state is a sign that studio has spent all the money they had to make the product. And now they have to push unfinished product onto sales to get more funds to finish the game. Not an ideal situation, but hopefully not disastrous. Game feels good in terms of FFB so I think they'll manage to deliver a good one in the end.
