I spend some time with the setup calculator yesterday and it's a good start, way better than default anyway ;)

Just be careful, it's quite stiff and you want to avoid curbs or be sure to hit them at the right angle at least.

Haven't checked tire wear yet and I might go a bit softer again, but fuel usage was about 2.5l/lap :)

There we go: http://projectcarssetups.eu/#/viewsetup/379250585

@Puffpirat your a star, what do you mean by setup calculator, is that an app?
Try the setup first xD

On the "create setup" page you can press "toggle calculator". That brings up some nice helpful values to get the balance right and pick dampers. I always start with a calculated baseline and go from there in game :)

Other thing to consider is that the rear is unstable because the front is actually gripping too much and over rotating it. So the suggestion on the bump/rebound above may be better to work on the front and not the rear.

I'm not sure why it would be so different between TT and FP tho. Environmental temp changes should have that dramatic an impact.
Try less deccel., less preload and try less engine braking.

You both right, actually. I did reduce front end grip (0 DF front) and lowered deccel and preload, increased engine braking though.
Result: stable 1:53's in race conditions - ice cold track and full tank of fuel (24°C track temp).

Bonus: The car nearly doesn't swing it's tail around anymore, but gets in a nice controllable 4-wheel slide. :D
