Excellent. Maybe people should state there preference for cars to help choose our weapons of choice .

I'd go for the Macca, personally. Or the Ford. :p

The Merc then.

Edited to add: Or the DP. But since I probably am a little slower, the Merc is the better choice.

The merc definitely drives nice, but I'm flirting with the thought of doing DP this time. For GT3 obviously the fastest :p

In no particular order, So we have 3 Teams of 5 drivers or 5 Teams of 3 Drivers at this point in time the second option may not be an option either way this is looking to be enthralling. 24 hours with 3 drivers may be a bit much as some of the guys have not taken part in a 24hr race. I know Falcon will more than willing to be the "top" team Manager if he is available but do we maybe have 2 or 3 more guys who can help out here? Excitement brewing well in advance might not even make it, one cannot count your clucks oops chickens before they hatch.

Imo 4 drivers are the optimum. 3 drivers is possible (look at 24h of Nürburgring, TonyR, F1-Massa and me) but it was very very exhausting. Now the cars are out everybody should pos his preferenced cars. I'll make the start:

DP -> AMG -> Audi -> Z4

If you drive the Bimmer, remember that you will be at a real disadvantage in Daytona.

The BMW was strong last year and imo it is easier to drive than the Audi or AMG. But in an endurancep race you should drive the car which you are the most comfortable with, not whats technically the fastest :p

Depends on who's driving and what split you're in ;) Also, I don't have any of the other cars.

But yeah, I see where you're coming from. We'll need to make sure we can get in as much slipstream as possible to keep up on the oval! It's a shame the McLaren was retired.

You didn't ask which would be most suited to Daytona :D

The Z4 will be superior in the infield and I don't think it will loose that much on the banking.
